Renovated Ranch Style

A classic Ranch-style, suburban home is rejuvenated for empty-nesters. By removing walls, the open floorplan and improved lighting offer a better use of the space, a more efficient, modern kitchen and touches of warm wood to keep it cozy. 


Carrollton Cottage

A 100 year old classic New Orleans bungalow was brought back to life by updating its old world charm with an elegantly casual décor. Large original windows, pale colored walls and eclectic lighting compliment the hand painted wood floor, copper bar, antique furnishings and modern pops of color to create an inviting, eclectic ambience.

Old Jefferson

A charming home in an established neighborhood just needed a little more space for this family with growing teenage boys so a large living and dining area were added to welcome friends and family. An open-concept living and dining area featuring a stone fireplace with reclaimed sinker cypress mantel, custom bookshelves, an iron chandelier and farm table add warmth to this lovely home and a new gathering place.

Laurel Street Furnished Rental

This charming, popular furnished rental just needed an affordable update for visiting guests. Utilizing some of the owner's furnishings, we were able to give it a new look by changing some colors, replacing sofas, adding a new kitchen table, lighting and a clever conversation piece for a very small investment. 
An existing rug from another location added a new color palette of yellow and grey. We added an affordable sofa and chair with the same colors, a modern floor lamp and table lamp, a rustic eat-in kitchen table and chairs, a kitchen desk and topped it off with a fun umbrella stand of rain boots to create a casual, current, whimsical atmosphere for right around $2,000.
This is a great example of how to update your space quickly and affordably....a wonderful strategy for people on a budget. 

Dumaine Street

The Beginning......A converted, linear back porch with a typical kitchen cabinet unit was transformed into a large dining room and bar area in great need of confluence, usefulness and some pizzazz! The upper and lower cabinets were joined together with bead board, painted a deep, B-M Raccoon Fur hue and dramatized with under counter lighting and contemporary hardware helping the Carrera marble pop!  Bead board was added to the ceiling, painted multiple colors then carefully distressed to reflect other spaces in the 100 year old building. The center column was wrapped with old cypress wood and a
custom designed bar, storage area and wine rack unit were added to balance the opposite end of the room using both old and new wood.
Voila! The most appealing, inviting space so far.....a work in progress! Will take you to the next phase soon....exquisite lighting and defined, cozy nooks for comfortable living!

Camp Street Condo

Updating the living area of this comfy condo with an eclectic mix of light colored walls, a transitional sofa and midcentury modern coffee table combined with jewel toned art and wet bar glassware brings new life to the space.

Heidi's Home

A simple addition of shutters, a complimentary paint combination and the willingness for the homeowners to take a little risk, made the front of this 1960's ranch-style home come back to life. 

Rustic Kitchen

This 'Big Box' store, faceless kitchen was transformed into a warm, rustic alternative by merely painting the cabinets a deep blue/grey (Benjamin-Moore Racoon Fur), adding contrasting gold hardware that compliments the breakfast table chairs and a brick paver backsplash that adds texture and some color. Voila!
